The Explorer 1000 Pro weighs only 11.5kg, which is approximately 70% of the weight and size compared to alternatives with the same capacity. Equipped with an ergonomically design handle, the Explorer is easy to carry whilst camping, fishing, and for outdoor work. The Explorer 1000 Pro can operate at a temperature range of -10 – 40℃ meaning you’ll be well prepared for all your outdoor adventures.

The all new LCD smart screen makes the Explorer 1000 Pro exceptionally user friendly with easy to view charging and usage status. At a glance you can easily view your power consumption and how much battery time is remaining. With multiple ways to charge, take your Explorer with you wherever you go for constant, easy access to power.

Tough and Sturdy – Built to be Used.

The Explorer 1000 Pro has shock-resistant level 9 drop resistance for peace of mind. If you accidentally drop the power station while handling, the Explorer can work still even if dropped from 1 meter up to three times.

Super Quiet & Enviromentally Friendly.

The Explorer 1000 Pro has a working volume of 46dB making it extremely quiet. In addition, it is an ideal environmentally friendly power solution offering green energy with no fumes and requiring no maintenance.

Q: What type of batteries are in an Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: Explorer 1000 contains a battery pack which consists of an optimised array of high quality cylindrical 18650 lithium-ion battery cells with high energy density.

Q: How do I know if my Explorer 1000 Pro is charged?

A: To check the charge level of the Explorer 1000, refer to the LCD Battery Display. The display will also show you input wattage and output wattage if the explorer is in use.

Q: How do I know if my device will work with the Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: You will need to check the amount of power your device requires. Most devices have a power sticker, alternatively an online search or examining the user guide for your device should indicate whether the device is less than or equal to 1000W. The majority of electronic devices will work, however appliances that use heating elements may not work.

Q: What devices can the Explorer 1000 Pro power?

A: Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than 1000-Watt. Once exceeding 1000-Watt the Explorer 1000 Pro will shut off automatically.

Q: Can I leave the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro permanenly plugged into the wall?

A: Yes, the Explorer will turn off once fully charged.

Q: Can I use the Explorer 1000 Pro as a UPS and leave devices such as my CPAP machine or TV permanently plugged into the Explorer?

A: Yes, the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro has UPS functionality. If the Explorer is plugged into power and receiving power it will charge your devices by bypassing the batteries. If load shedding occurs the Explorer will switch over to battery power, and once Eskom power returns the Explorer will again bypass the batteries and use wall power to power your plugged in devices.

Q: How to calculate the working time for my device? e.g. TV

A: Working time = 1002Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device. For reference, assuming power consumption of your TV is 60W, working time will be 1002Wh*0.85/60w = 14 hours (roughly calculated).

Q: How long does it take to charge the Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: Appoimately 1.8 hours from an AC wall outlet. There are two additional recharge options: recharge from a car port within or from solar panels.
