The WR18DH features four Auto-Stop modes, which cater to various applications by stopping the tool after a preset time to prevent over-tightening. Furthermore, it prevents nuts from dropping by automatically stopping or adjusting speed to the designated rotation speed.
However, this function is only effective when the switch is fully engaged. In addition to its advanced functionality, the tool’s design incorporates dust-protective cooling windows and fully plastic coating on key inner parts, resulting in an IP56 protection class rating.
Consequently, the equipment is well-equipped to withstand dust and water, although it’s crucial to note that excessive exposure may still cause malfunction. Therefore, it’s recommended to avoid using or storing the equipment in dusty or submerged environments. Notably, the IP56 protection applies only to the main unit when equipped with a battery.
