KNIPEX StepCut Cable Shears: A quantum leap in cable cutting.
Good news for all electrical professionals: KNIPEX StepCut® Cable Shears 160 mm cuts multi-core cables substantially more easily than cable cutters of a comparable length. It cuts wires and strands one after the other, reducing the effort required by up to 40%. This gives the cable shears, which are only 16 centimetres long, a surprisingly high capacity: They easily and precisely cut single and multi-conductor copper and aluminium cables up to a diameter of 15 millimetres (50 mm²) and solid NYM cables up to a maximum of 5 x 4 mm².
The handles, which have a practical plastic coating applied in a dipping process, make the cable shears non-slip and comfortable to hold. They protect the hands from contact with the bare steel in cold or hot temperature conditions.
