The Knipex X-Cut Compact Diagonal Cutter provides accurate cuts on thin wire, thick cable and spring steel.

Thanks to its precise cutting edges and high-quality chrome vanadium tool steel, the Knipex 73 06 160 X-Cut enables accurate cuts of fine copper wire and thick multicore cables up to 12 mm in diameter. Moreover, the X-Cut’s cutting edges effortlessly bite through nails and various types of wire, including spring steel wire.

In addition to its cutting prowess, this tool offers significant energy savings due to its high transmission ratio of manual force, requiring around 40% less effort compared to conventional diagonal cutters of the same length. Furthermore, its compact design, weighing only 175g and measuring 160mm in length, makes it ideal for various applications, including work with live parts, provided safety rules are followed.

The tool’s robust design features a box joint construction, double guide, and double-mounted joint axle, ensuring maximum stability and durability.
