However, the Makita BL830 Lithium Ion Battery is only compatible with Makita Cordless Power Tools featuring a yellow connector plate, or a connector plate decorated with the Star Protection System symbol.
Over their lifetime, Lithium Ion Batteries have a 430% greater working capacity than Ni-Cad, & are 40% lighter than Ni-MH.
They can also be stored for long periods with very little charge depletion.
The MAKITA 3.0 Ah 18V Lithium Ion Battery can be charged using a Makita DC18RA or Makita DC18RC charger.
