With three simple steps, you get a perfect match fit when making inlays, half laps, and many unique styles of joinery. With any table saw blade or stack dado set, you start by gauging the thickness of the blade. MATCHFIT Dado Stop makes this easy.

 

  • Step 2: Set the Dado with Material Fitted – Simple and easy to use, the MATCHFIT Dado Stop sets the shoulders of your cross dado using the actual part that will be fitted in the dado for a perfect fit without measuring or test cuts. Only by using the material being fitted to the groove can you make an exact setup gauge. MATCHFIT Dado Stop locks in the positions of your first and end cut of the dado. No hassles, no tricky measurements, just perfect-fitting dado cuts.

 

  • Step 3: Cut the Dado – With your MATCHFIT Dado Stop locked into position, it’s time to make your cuts:
    • Use Leg No.1 to cut your first shoulder.
    • Use Leg No.3 to cut your second shoulder.
    • Clear the centre with multiple passes.

It only takes minutes to make your perfect-fitting dado cut.
