The Milwaukee Cordless Magnetic Drill Press M18 FMDP-0C provides corded drilling performance with strongest magnet holding force on ¼″ steel and 40 x 18 mm holes per battery charge.

First and foremost, user safety is built into every detail. Specifically, AUTOSTOP™ lift-off detection actively monitors the tool. In the event that excess rotation is detected, it automatically cuts power to the drill. As a result, you get the best possible user protection and better control in kickback situations.

In addition, stability and alignment are never an issue. To that end, the tool uses a self-powered permanent magnet with 8,890 N of holding force. Because of this, accidental magnet deactivation is prevented. Consequently, you get improved user protection as well as easy, secure alignment on steel, even when working overhead or at an angle. Moreover, performance is optimized for different drilling tasks. For example, the 2-speed gearbox delivers optimized drilling speeds of 400 and 690 rpm. Therefore, you can select the ideal speed when using annular cutters or twist drill bits, depending on the material and bit type.

Finally, the tool handles a wide range of jobs with ease. Specifically, it offers a maximum drilling capacity of 38 mm when using annular cutters, and 13 mm with straight shank twist drill bits.
