The Optimum Universal Milling Machine MT50 is a universal precision boring / milling machine for horizontal and vertical milling with digital 3-axis position indicator DPA 31 Plus.

This robust milling machine features a heavy, solid design crafted from high-quality, vibration-absorbing gray cast iron. Moreover, its oil bath gearbox utilizes ground, hardened gear wheels, ensuring smooth operation. Additionally, the Optimum Universal Milling Machine MT50 incorporates a coolant device and a halogen machine lamp with a focused beam, providing optimal working conditions.

The cross table boasts a solid and generously dimensioned construction, with a precisely surface-machined finish featuring T-slots and adjustable gibs. Furthermore, the milling head tilts ± 45 degrees, allowing for versatile machining capabilities. Users can control the X-axis movement manually with the handwheel or via the table feed device.

For enhanced safety and convenience, the machine’s automatic limit stop prevents accidental over-travel on the X-axis. Moreover, the height-adjustable protective screen features a microswitch, providing maximum protection against flying chips and parts. This ensures the user’s safety while operating the machine.
