POWER TOOL SAFETY TIPS
- Wear eye, ear and dust protection when drilling or driving screws, especially in metal or treated timber.
- Secure your workpiece with a clamp or vice before drilling to prevent it from spinning or slipping.
- Use the correct drill bit type and size for the material and let the tool do the work – do not force the bit.
- Remove the battery from the tool before changing bits, adjusting settings or performing maintenance.
- Ideal for installing cupboards, shelves, frames, doors, light steel brackets and general household maintenance projects.
- Use the HSS drill bits for wood and metal; for masonry you will need appropriate masonry bits (not included).
- The torque settings on the drill help protect screws and workpieces by preventing over-tightening.
- The bit set is roll forged and can be re-sharpened, extending its useful life when maintained correctly.
