The Knipex VDE Combination Shears 9505190SB is suited for cutting cardboard, plastics, aluminium, brass and copper foils.
Features precision-ground, sharp cutting edges that enable precise straight cuts and effortless curved cuts. Consequently, they are ideal for tasks such as cutting templates or tailoring metal foils to size. Moreover, these universal shears can cut a wide range of materials with ease, thanks to one of the cutting edges having a profiled special bevel that securely holds the material in place.
Furthermore, the shears’ 190mm length and correspondingly long cutting edges make them particularly useful for longer cuts. As a result, they can effectively cut various materials, including soft and tough plastics, leather, cardboard, and metallic foils. In fact, the list of materials they can cut is extensive, ranging from plastic and adhesive tape to Al, Ms, and Cu foils.
Additionally, the combination shears come with several useful features, including an opening spring, safety catch, and clip-on handle. The bolted joint allows for adjustability, ensuring precise action and ideal contact pressure. The shape of the cutting edge guarantees every cut succeeds while preventing slipping. Moreover, the handle allows for attaching a tether to prevent falling, adding to the tool’s practicality.
