The Optimum Milling Machine MF2-B is a multifunctional drilling and milling machine, featuring a mechanically infinitely variable drive for seamless operation and a digital 3-axis position display with the advanced DPA 31 Plus system.
The machine’s solid design leverages high-quality Meehanite cast iron, ensuring exceptional durability. Moreover, the tapered roller bearing achieves high concentricity, boasting an impressive accuracy of ≤ 0.01 mm measured in the sleeve. Additionally, the X- and Z-axis feature adjustable 55° dovetail guides, while the Y-axis incorporates an adjustable flat guide.
Furthermore, the machine’s coolant device enhances its overall performance. The cross table’s solid and generous dimensions provide a stable work surface, with a precisely surface-finished design and adjustable end stops. The drilling/milling head offers versatility with its ± 45° tilt capability. Lastly, the automatic quill feed operates in three stages, delivering a range of 0.04 – 0.15 mm/rev.
